You know, the internet is great to be able to see and buy folk art from the comfort of your home but there's nothing like getting out and seeing the real thing! Here are our confirmed shows for 2008 so far. We have several unconfirmed so check back often, as we add them at will. Discounted tickets and other incentives are sometimes available. Art in the Park, May 3 & 4
ELMHURST ART MUSEUM
A jurried fine arts festival in its 12th year takes place on the grounds of the beautiful Elhurst Art Museum, 150 Cottage Hill Ave., in Elmhurst, Illinois. We will be showing as part of the Folk Art and Friends both along with a number other artists attending this outdoor show. Browse FAAF's new booth for one of a kind items or just come by and talk. This is FAAF's FIRST art show as a group and we are very excited about it!

BLOOMINTON INTERSTATE CENTER, IL
From May to October, thousands of Midwestern collectors clear their calendars to shop the 3rd Sunday Market, an event devoted exclusively to the finest in antiques, collectibles, and crafts. A Bloomington tradition since 1988, the indoor/outdoor sale features more than 450 top dealers, representing 17 states. Whether you're looking for the finest in antique furniture, americana, folk art, vintage advertising, sport memorabilia, or antique linens & clothing you're likely to find it here. (Find us in the carpeted, indoor area).
Art at the Farm, June 28 & 29
GARFIELD FARM AND INN MUSEUM (At Mongerson Farm.)
We will again be showing as part of Folk Art and Friends and helping host historical Garfield Farm and Museum's first art show, located at Rt. 38 and Garfield Road in Geneva, Illinois. FAAF will have their artists on hand to offer you their gorgeous creations for sale, in addition to other excellent exhibitors. Some of the proceeds will benefit the Garfield Farm and Museum, which strives to educate the public on past mid western farming practices and lifestyles of the 1800's.

KANE COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS (In the new building!)
The Country Folk Art Festival brings exacting high-quality reproductions of country and formal antique American furniture and accessories, contemporary folk art and unique crafts to the Chicagoland and Boston areas. All shows and sales are open to the public.
